Calendar of First Friday Holy Hours and Eucharistic Processions and Celebrations

1.    August 4th First Friday Holy Hour lead by Deacon Dave

2.    September 1st First Friday Holy Hour Fr. George

3.    September 14thThursdayExultation of the Cross with OLV students, teachers, staff and parishioners after School Mass. Process from Church around grounds reciting the rosary.  Knights of Columbus will be honor guard.  EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION with OLV students, teachers, staff and parishioners after School Mass. 4.    October 6th     First Friday Holy Hour OLV Novena (Marian & Benediction Hymns) Marian Litany.

5.    October 8th Sunday Our Lady of Victory Feast Day EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION including all CCD students, teachers and parishioners after the 9:30am Sunday Mass.  (inform Anne Bord)(no donuts that weekend)

6.    November 2 All Souls Day Thursday OLV Bereavement Mass for the Parish.   

7.    November 3rd First Friday Holy Hour will not be changed.   the “Messy Family” presentation will be held at St. Joe’s  so it doesn’t interfere with our First Friday Holy Hour Schedule

  OLV Bazaar November 4 and Messy Family Retreat at St. Joseph’s (9am to 4pm)

8.    December 1st First Friday Holy Hour with possible Advent music

9.    December 11th  Monday(Olivas family). Possible Praise and Worship music organized by Olivia and Paul Leskowics & Mark Lusk. Litany of Our Lady of Guadalupe with Marian procession to Activities Center for refreshments. Possible Mexican (Mariachi) style music for Holy Hour and Reception?  Our Lady of GuadalupeVigil Holy Hour and Reception (Olivas family). 10.    January 5th  First Friday Epiphany Holy Hour with Christmas Carols (Choir/Cantor). It will mark the beginning of  the Weekend Sat & Sun January 6th & 7th celebrations of Epiphany and Welcome Home or Come Home to the Catholic Church for families and fallen-away Catholic members. Special music at all masses (choirs not just cantors) Cookies & Punch after all masses in the Baptistry plus Information Packets/Tables.  Question & Answer sessions. (what materials were used in the past by Mary Ann Spychalski and Sally Lima.  K of C and CDA can help with the receptions.)

11.    February 2nd  First Friday Holy Hour  Candlemas with blessing of candles and throats.

12.    February 5th – March 18th - Small Group Eucharistic Revival study series. Seven weeks ending the week before Holy Week.   

13.    February 10th Saturday Vigil Mass with Praise and Worship music for Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras party for parishioners and families.  Organized by Meredith and Matt Freeman and friends) Possible New Orleans Jazz or Tarnish Six style music for the mass and reception.   Possible New Orleans Jazz or Tarnish Six style music for the mass and reception.  

14.    March 1st First Friday Holy Hour during lent

15.    April 5th     First Friday Holy Hour Easter Week (Last of the 9 First Fridays)(Last of the 9 First Fridays)

16.    April 7th  Divine Mercy Sunday  Holy Hour begins after 11:30am Mass with Adoration.  The Divine Mercy Chaplet is recited at 3pm and ending with Benediction.  (no Procession?) begins after 11:30am Mass with Adoration.  The Divine Mercy Chaplet is recited at 3pm and ending with Benediction.  (no Procession?)

17.    April/May Biblical Roots of the Mass video series as provided by Diocese

18.    May 3rd     First Friday Holy Hour (Marian) is postponed till May 10th because of First Communion practice that night with possible May Crowning

19.    May Marian Holy hour withtraditional May Crowning TBD

20.    June 1st. Saturday after 5pm mass followed by reception in Activities Center. (CDA and K of C) CORPUS CHRISTI EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION after 5pm mass followed by reception in Activities Center. (CDA and K of C)
